The contents of the download are original and were not modified in any way. Like many of people my R-Link system is consistently failing to connect, the system is seriously flawed and as such not fit for purpose. I have downloaded the aquarium just to see if that worked and it did. Each download we provide is subject to periodical scanning, but we strongly recommend you to check the package for viruses on your side before running the installation. I will try again and if anything different I will post Cheers Andy. Mine is an ex Renault Australia car so one would have thought things should work. Please feel free to email me — Hey all — Just thought I'd chip in. You would be wasting time and money in changing the head unit. I've sent a polite yet blunt email to the R-Link email address posted above, so we'll see what they have to say. That said I did have a few issues initially but it all worked, eventually.
I haven't had to buy anything yet and one would definitely expect to get a year free included with the car. Otherwise, I'll be pushing for a change of Head Unit. The Live and all internet features are greyed out. Bought a 2015 Renault Koleos Bose Premium today — with the R-link system. A new page should appear saying that you need to download the R Link Toolbox. Perhaps you could try the OzRenaultSport forums —? I had some similar issues trying to find out the right information around these updates, but once I signed up to the au. Let it do its thing and then you should be all up to date! The R Link didn't turn itself off like it normally does if you have the radio on without the ignition on. You will need to use an earlier version of Internet Explorer 11 is fine ,FireFox,Safari basically anything that supports Java After all this there weren't any updates anyway. After I ejected properly, as it was so quick I re inserted it and after R Link toolbox came up it said busy then it was up to date? You may have further issues once you've got access to download manager. The latest versions of the tool can be downloaded using the following links: How to use it? Hi, Hoping someone can help me as Ive run out of places to look. This was done and it gave me a link to the R Link store and here's where the fun started. Love it but have several issues clearly related to problems mentioned within this thread. Rlink still under review in australia apparantely, not fully supported! Also, interestingly, has anybody else seen this: According to Groupe Renault, all new Renaults from April will come with Apple Carplay and Android Auto. In the car i no tomtom live services greyed out , same for rlink, weather. I found this by going into the R Link in car, go to settings, then onto status and version information. I picked up a new Megane in Melbourne last week. I believe that with the 2G telephone network being shut down, these have all gone dead now: The R-Link connected services is not a feature that Renault Australia promotes in either their Product Brochure or website. You are downloading R-Link 2 Toolbox, version 1.
Interesting I have just had their courtesy car, a Megan sedan, and it is connected and supports voice control for sat nav and has smartphone mirroring enabled. The update instructions are pretty sparse but I eventually got there, only to find there is precious little content in the Australian r-link store. This is nice, but disappoints given I just bought a new Megane. It appears to me that Renault Australia is clueless when it comes to anything to do with the R-Link system. I did get google maps on screen until the phone disconnected from r-link. You are correct a previous update was just as quick then previous to that 20 minutes laptop and 20 minutes car! With rlink toolbox, i clear cache, try different methods of download like no backup etc, same problem, all goes well until it has to write to card.Next
This very simple tool will allow to download and to copy the updates maps and software. Then clicking on TomTom version info. Now, I find that when I select 'My Apps' on the screen, the only one that is available is a 'Calculator' that I downloaded from the R-Link store when the car was new. I my case this was because I use Windows! It told me i have two mandatory updates and one map update v950 at least its 2015! For this reason I have consulted with a top technical manager at Renault and can assure you that the issue lies with the networking itself. From there you can use the google auto features like google maps and google voice etc. Then my understanding was you would have to pay for any subsequent updates rather than for the whole service , but will wait and see what happens I guess.Next
Then downloaded rlink toolbox as it said. Open your own post - click on Edit. It doesn't connect or allow voice control for sat nav, and the dealership don't know what's wrong. So after reading manuals, and trying their myrenault. This is an official Renault position and regrettably, there is nothing we can do to change this position.
